Upgrade
When repowering, ADR replaces your current engine with a new or completely reconditioned Caterpillar or John Deere engine that meets the latest requirements. ADR has everything you need in stock: reverse gears, coolers, silencers, and engines. The result of repowering is spectacular: after two to six weeks, you will be sailing with state-of-the-art engines.
Engine room renovation
With your approval, we will take advantage of the re-engining to also renovate your engine room. In most cases, significant gains can be achieved by replacing conventional techniques with ‘smart’ steel. Less weight combined with modern engines significantly improve the efficiency of your ship.
ADR carries out the modifications to the engine rooms in-house. Our engineers know the engines inside out and therefore know exactly what is needed to achieve a good result. Because the entire project is handled by ADR, you can be sure that everything will fit together perfectly.
